The standardised range
Fluent OPTIMA
The widest range of standardised purification machines VATS manufactures — for all hydraulic and lubricating oils, at any viscosity, and for virtually any tank in the plant.
What it is
From a 200 Liter tank
to 10,000 Liter.
Over the last two decades, VATS has worked closely with industries including Cement, Steel, Power, Petrochemicals and Fertilisers. This experience has helped us develop proven filter and machine combinations for different applications and operating conditions.
Fluent OPTIMA is VATS’ standardised range of oil purification machines, designed for hydraulic and lubricating oil applications across a wide range of viscosities and tank capacities — from 200 L to 10,000 L — with configurations available to achieve cleanliness levels from NAS 8 down to NAS 3.

Configure Fluent OPTIMA to Your Requirement
Fluent OPTIMA can be configured for particulate contamination, moisture removal, or combined filtration, allowing the machine to be selected around your oil, tank capacity and required cleanliness level.
Depending on the application, Fluent OPTIMA configurations incorporate VATS G2D filtration technology for high dirt-holding capacity and, in the Fluent OPTIMA C variant, a regenerable long-life coalescer element for moisture removal.
Designed for simple plug-in installation without the need for specialised setup, Fluent OPTIMA features non-corrosive stainless steel and aluminium housings and operates without heating or static generation. The range is suitable for mineral and synthetic oils, water glycol and FRF fluids, as well as water-hydraulic applications.
The Benefits of Clean Oil
Contaminated oil is one of the leading causes of wear, component failure and breakdowns in hydraulic and lubricating systems. Purifying the oil to the required cleanliness level protects the components that depend on it.
Continuous purification with Fluent OPTIMA removes particulate contamination and moisture before they can damage pumps, valves and bearings. Component life is extended, oil life is extended, and the unplanned downtime caused by contamination is avoided.
VATS G2D Filtration Technology
Fluent OPTIMA is built around the VATS G2D filter element. G2D stands for Graded Density Depth filtration: the pore structure of the element tightens from the outside in, so the largest particles are stopped at the rim and progressively finer particles are captured deeper within the element.
Because contamination is distributed through the full depth of the element rather than collecting on a single surface, G2D provides a high dirt-holding capacity, a longer element life and fewer element changes over the life of the machine. See how G2D works →
