In Pune, India, Sheetal and Gauri founded VATS Filtration Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in 1999, with a very clear objective: provide solutions for saving oils used by the industry. VATS pioneered the manufacturing of resin‑bonded depth filters, and introduced the unique G2D, Graded Density Depth Filter, for the most precise and effective oil filtration applications. Through working very closely with the industry, VATS quickly realised that it is the machine–filter combination which delivers the results, and went on to manufacture a wide range of filtration machines and systems built around the core element, the G2D filters. The Fluent range of machines has been received extremely well by the industry.
VATS ardently advocated the concept of continuous bypass filtration, so as to achieve the best results, and focused on developing smaller and simpler machines for the purpose. The never‑ending quest for the perfect solution has finally led VATS to the invention of the Online Continuous Filters (OCF), which can be installed directly in the main oil system, running on the system pressure. The Fluent range now is complete with the OCF filtration products — another big step towards fulfilling the mission to save oil and help the environment.

With a background in chemical engineering and advanced studies at IIT Mumbai, Sheetal specialises in filtration and separation technologies. Over five years of hands-on experience in chemical plants in Gujarat paved the way for founding VATS Filtration Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
He has spearheaded the development of a diverse range of filters tailored to various applications, ensuring top-notch quality at competitive prices, proudly championing Made in India innovation as a viable alternative to costly imported technologies. He is committed to environmental sustainability: our solutions contribute to oil conservation efforts, aligning with broader environmental goals while benefiting businesses and communities alike.

Gauri is an accomplished professional overseeing overall management, including back-office sales support, finance, production and administration, at VATS Filtration Technologies Pvt. Ltd. With a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and an MBA in Accounting & Finance from HNIMR, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.
Her extensive experience as a Director in the filtration industry is marked by her proficiency in risk management, procurement, strategic planning, business development and business strategy. Her background as a cost accountant further enhances her ability to drive financial performance and operational excellence within the company.
