Test Rig Oil Applications

Application- For indusial gearboxes, and hydraulic components testing is very much important.
Oil plays a major role during this testing. Oil can define life and accuracy of the component and system.

Current Practice:
After assembly of gearbox, hydraulic component or valve generally it is tested for actual performance with oil. All the dust, grease, sealant, moisture, carbon/ graphite, etc. gets mixed in the oil. This contaminated oil gets recirculated and gradually contamination increases.

At some point of time oil is so much contaminated that it is not wise to use this dirty oil. And eventually it call for replacement of oil.

Resultant of current practice (Problem / Issue):
After testing oil is recirculated in the test rig. Contamination from each component gets added in the oil sump and ultimately resulting into increase in ISO class or NAS level.

And finally resulting in (a) Reduction in performance (b) component failure, during Warrantee Period.

Neat Cutting Oil application

Current Practice:
